Windfall funded the provision of thermal curtains throughout the Hall in August 2023 with a grant of £4,488. These have made a big difference to the user experience as well as reducing the need to heat the Hall. Some heat can be retained from one use to the next by leaving curtains closed, and less heat is lost to the outside during evening events.

Neuadd Bentref Cwmllinau Village Hall
As a committee and village we were very fortunate to receive funding from Windfall (Mid Wales Community Energy Trust) Lottery (People and Places) and the Welsh Government (Community Facilities Programme) to allow us to complete much needed renovations to our village hall. The hall previously had minimal usage, it was very damp and cold and needed a lot of work.
